  • Alabama Gambling: casino directory, gaming statistics, racing, lottery & poker

Quick Facts: Alabama is one of the few states that does not have a lottery. Alabama does not have state authorized casinos. You will find tribal casinos here. One of the most popular is Wind Creek Casino. In addition there are operations with "video bingo terminals" which act and feel just like video slots. You will find these casino games at a few of the greyhound tracks.

Bingo is popular in the state. Home poker is legal with no rake taken for the house. There is greyhound racing and horse racing in Alabama with pari-mutuel betting going on.

You must be 18 to get into the indian casinos, 19 to bet on dogs or horses. Neighboring state of Mississippi has a number of casinos in various towns (Biloxi, Tunica, Shreveport, etc...), so if your looking for a bit more of a gambling 'scene' make the extra travel. Click here for the Alabama casino map which notates locations you can gamble in Alabama (pari-mutuel and casinos)
